Yoga is the scientific discipline of removing stress and tension at its source.  Tension, physical, emotional and mental, past and present, is stored in the muscles and organs of the body.  True stress reduction is a matter of discovering how to release that tension on ALL levels.  By bringing the mind, body, and spirit into harmony we create peace, happiness, and well being - ultimately improving the quality of our health and our lives.
 
Improve your muscle tone, flexibility, strength and stamina with hatha yoga.  Learn techniques to balance the body as well as your hectic lifestyle by bringing the mind and body together for overall good health and vitality.  Yoga with Dawn classes are an eclectic blend of Iyengar, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Viniyoga styles.  Special emphasis is placed on using the breath and alignment to safely open and strengthen the body.  Variations and modifications for most poses will be demonstrated to accommodate all levels of practice. Beginners are always welcome!

Special Restorative Yoga Class
Date: Sunday, Feb.7th         Time:  3:15-4:30pm
Place: The Yoga Project in Arlington
Cost: $10 must pre-register online at www.theyogaproject.net
Come feel your stress & tension melt away with this gentle restorative practice to rest, restore, & renew you!
If you already have some of these props, please bring them:
1-Bolster, 1-3 Blankets, 2-Blocks, 1-Strap, eye pillow or hand towel for eye cover, & your mat. (Straps, Blocks & some Blankets will be provided)


All month long we will be learning about how yoga can improve our heart health.  Wear Red or Pink to yoga class as we explore the Heart Chakra, practicing beautiful back bends and chest openers bringing health & healing to the human heart.
